Record Store Day is this Saturday (4/20). Som will be carrying at least 75 different RSD releases this year. We’ll also be giving away CDs, DVDs and some gift certificates. Our hours will be regular (12-9PM).

Baltimore composer and musician Dan Deacon recently played the 9:30 Club here and was interviewed in our shop by the good folks at the Vinyl District.
Rock legend Ian Hunter visited Som a few weeks back and the Vinyl District was along to film. Store employee, and somewhat of a legend himself, Kid Congo Powers interviewed Hunter and pointed him the direction of the records he collects (mainly 50’s rock). Hunter was in town to play a show at the newly renovated Howard Theater. Here’s Hunter in our fair shop –
